HealthWrights: Presentations and Slideshows

For over four decades, presentations and slide shows have made up an important aspect of the work of HealthWrights and David Werner, as the team has traveled the world over to bring the people information about Primary Health Care and disability rights and rehabilitation techniques. Below you will find a growing list of our presentations and slide shows which we are busy converting for mobile use.

Presentations

• The Measles Monster

  In this street theater / participatory role-play, the community is invited to witness what happens when vaccine-hesitent parents fail to vaccinate their children. The play ends with the children vaccinated, and the Measles Monster defeated by the children.

• Look at the Whole Needs: A Visual Snapshot of Community-Based Rehabilitation at PROJIMO

  This is the keynote address by David Werner for the 5th Anniversary JANNET Seminar titled “CBR in the 21st Century & International Cooperation in the Disability Field”. This remarkable presentation offers a bird’s-eye view on Project PROJIMO, it’s philosophy and various activities, featuring images of the people and their practices.
